This qualification is suitable for the role of individuals operating at a senior level who use substantial industry knowledge and wide-ranging, specialised managerial skills. They operate independently, take responsibility for others and make a range of strategic business decisions.
Students with this qualification have a pathway to work in any hospitality industry sector and for a diversity of employers including restaurants, hotels, motels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafés, and coffee shops. This qualification allows for multi-skilling and for specialisation in accommodation services, cookery, food and beverage.

Entry Requirements

  • 18 years or older
  • Satisfactorily completed Year 11 and Preferably Year 12 or equivalent
  • IELTS 5.5 or upper intermediate level ELICOS
  • Must meet Student Visa requirements
